Police arrest male attempting to break into home in St John's on Wednesday night

Officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) responded to a disturbance at a residence in the center city of St. John’s, just after 9:00 p.m. Opponents inside the residence reported to police that a male was attempting to force entry into the house and was threatening them. Officers arrived on scene and as thier investigation, police arrested a 25-year-old male for attempted break and enter, property damage and breach of his court orders. Police also say that the male was known to the opponents inside of the home.

He was conveyed to the St. John’s City Lock Up.
