Police arrest impaired 18-year-old driver on Torbay Road

Just before 1:30 this morning the RNC responded to a business on Torbay Road to a report of an impaired driver.

Before officers arrived on the scene, the vehicle had left the area.

However, with the assistance from a member of the public, officers located the vehicle a distance away. The 18-year-old male driver was placed under arrest for impaired driving and after further investigation, he was charged with impaired driving and over .80.

The male was released for a future court date.
