The RNC has a male in custody who was wanted for murder in St. John’s.

47-year-old Douglas Yetman was wanted on charges of murder and numerous firearms and weapons offences, and breaches.

RNC, along with the RCMP Emergency Response Team, responded to a home on James Place around 7:00 p.m. last night. He was taken into police custody without incident. Charges are pending, and the investigation is ongoing.

On December 21, police responded to a home on Empire Avenue, where officers located a 41-year-old deceased male. Working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the death was determined to be a homicide.

Earlier this week, 42-year-old Darryl Little and 28-year-old Peter Campbell were charged while Yetman remained at large.
