Police apprehend bank robbery suspect
Police have taken a 30-year-old male into custody without incident in connection with a robbery at a financial institution in St. John's.
At 1:22 pm on Friday, the RNC responded to a robbery report at the CIBC branch located at 46 Kenmount Road.
In the robbery, a male entered the establishment and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The male has been charged with robbery with violence and failure to comply with a release order.
The accused will appear in court on Sunday.
