Players encouraged to re-scan some tickets after ALC app issue

Atlantic Lottery has stated that a small percentage of players received an incorrect non-winning message when using the mobile app’s ticket scanner to check draw tickets.

As a result, some players with winning tickets were told their ticket was not a winner.

The error occurred intermittently from October 16, 2023, to January 25, 2024, and was immediately corrected upon discovery.

Players are encouraged to rescan any tickets they may have from this time.

The error resulted in approximately $27,000 of total cash prizes not being claimed. No prizes of $1,027 or more were affected.

The issue has now been corrected.
