PetOwners Collective calls for the removal of HST on Veterinary Clinic services

The PetOwners Collective is requesting the removal of the Provincial portion or all HST taxes on Veterinary Clinic services, as well as the purchase of equipment needed to do their work.

The organization has approached all three parties.

Its membership is deeply concerned with reports that pets are suffering and, in some cases, passing, because owners cannot get access to affordable Veterinary care on a timely basis.

The PetOwners Collective, formed in 2025, is a non-profit, self-funded group of volunteers focused on increased access to affordable pet healthcare services. They also focus on promoting the well-being of Veterinarians and their staff.
