Person taken to Hospital Following Collision in Downtown St. John’s

At least one person was taken to hospital on Thursday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision in Downtown St. John’s.

Firefighters and other emergency personnel were alerted about the incident just before 11:50 a.m. on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Lime Street and Cabot Street in downtown St. John’s.

Both vehicles involved in the collision sustained minor to moderate damage. One person was treated on scene where they were then placed on a stretcher and taken to hospital in an ambulance with unknown injuries.

The intersection was closed to traffic as personnel worked to clear the scene.
