Person seriously injured after assault on George Street

A person was seriously injured during an assault on George Street. The RNC responded to the report of an assault.

Upon arrival. police located a seriously injured person. Officers assisted paramedics and started an investigation.

A 38-year-old male was arrested under a warrant in the George Street Area, the same male was later charged. The additional charges were assault causing, carrying a concealed weapon, and numerous breaches of various court orders.

The accused was held for court.
