Pedestrian seriously injured in collision on Torbay Road

A woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Torbay Road Tuesday night.

Members of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s Operational Patrol Services responded to the motor vehicle-pedestrian collision around 10:20 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a female pedestrian with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The RNC’s accident investigation team was called to the scene and is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
