Pedestrian Mall Businesses Able to Expand Outdoor Space

The City of St. John's says that Water Street Pedestrian Mall business owners, businesses within the pedestrian mall footprint are now able to expand their outdoor space beyond their own storefronts.

The chance is in response to requests from business owners.

An insurance certificate amendment, letter of consent from the building owner, and a Downtown Pedestrian Mall Application must be provided. A building application is also required if a structure is to be built.
