Pedestrian hit by school bus in Bay Roberts

RCMP is investigating after a school bus hit a pedestrian at a crosswalk near Ascension Collegiate in Bay Roberts.

On Monday afternoon police received the report and attended the collision.

Firefighters and EMS were on scene and the man was transported via ambulance to the Carbonear General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Aside from the driver, the bus was vacant at the time of the collision and the driver was uninjured.
