Pedestrian deceased following collision on Veteran’s Memorial Highway

Police have confirmed that a 37-year-old woman has died after a collision on the Veteran’s Memorial Highway near Bay Roberts last night.

Shortly after 9:00 p.m., RCMP was informed of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Police attended the scene, where the pedestrian was found deceased. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.

The investigation is continuing.
