Former Premier Paul Davis is considering a run in Federal politics.

Via Facebook Davis announced his intention to seek the Conservative nomination in the riding of Avalon.

There will be a nomination process and a vote will be held. Only residents of Avalon who have registered with the party will be eligible to vote.

Davis served as Premier from September 26, 2014, to December 14, 2015.

Liberal Ken McDonald is the current MP for the district.
