Pair arrested following robbery in St. John's

On Monday afternoon, the RNC were called to a robbery in progress at a business in the central city area of St. John's.

Officers combed the area and located a male and female matching the suspect description.

The female was cooperative, but the male decided to put up a fight.

Both were taken into custody.

The 42-year-old male was charged with robbery, resisting arrest, breach of a release order and breach of probation. The 30-year-old female was charged with robbery and breach of a release order.
