Overdue hiker located safe

Just before 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, the RNC and the Rovers Search and Rescue responded to a report of an overdue hiker on the East Coast Trail.

The team began searching just after dark, and shortly after 3:45 am this morning, the hiker was located safe.
