Over 150 charges Laid After Traffic Enforcement on Burin Peninsula #nltraffic


Between Tuesday and Thursday of this week, the RCMP Traffic Services East and officers with Burin Peninsula RCMP partnered in a strategic enforcement initiative on the Burin Peninsula.


Over 150 charges were laid as a result.


Enforcement took place along Route 210 and into the Town of Marystown and continued south along Route 220 from St. Lawrence to Winterland.


Drivers were ticketed for excessive speeding, distracted driving, seatbelt violations, equipment defects, as well as registration and insurance violations.
