One person was sent to hospital following a collision in Mount Pearl on Tuesday

One person was sent to hospital on Tuesday following a pickup truck vs Semi trailer collision on Glencoe Drive in Donovans Industrial Park.

Firefighters got the call at around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday for a collision on Glencoe Drive. When firefighters arrived on scene a pickup truck had significant damage, the driver of the pickup truck was sent to hospital with unknown injuries.

The Semi trucks trailer also had damage done to its rims it is unknown if the occupant (s) of the semi was injured as a result of the crash.

A part of Glencoe Drive Was closed near Dundee Avenue as police investigated the collision.
