One person was sent to hospital after extrication tools were used to free her from the vehicle

One person was sent to hospital after Firefighters used extrication tools to free the person from the vehicle.

At around 10:20 a.m. crews responded to the intersection of Topsail Road and Dunns Road for a collision involving two vehicles.

One person involved had to be extracted from the vehicle by extrication tools. The person was then placed on a stretcher and was sent to hospital with unknown injuries.

Topsail Road in the area of Dunns Road was slowed as crews work to free the person from vehicle. Both vehicles involved did sustain significant damage.
