One Person was sent to Hospital after being Struck by a plow in Mount Pearl on Thursday

One person was taken to hospital on Thursday after getting hit with a plow in Mount Pearl.
Emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Topsail Road and Commonwealth Avenue at around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
When crews arrived, a pedestrian who was crossing Topsail Road had been struck by a plow that was attached to a pickup truck. Firefighters and paramedics treated the injured person, who was then placed aboard a Newfoundland Health Service ambulance and transported to hospital with what are believed to be not serious injuries.
Officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s Collision Reconstruction team, along with an officer with the Forensics identification section, attended the scene.
Traffic in the area was disrupted as police investigated the collision.
