One person sent to hospital following two vehicle collision in West-End of St. John's Friday

One person was sent to hospital with minor injuries following a two vehicle collision on Topsail Road in the area of Forbes Street in the West-End of St. John's Friday evening.

Report from the scene indicate that the truck lost its brakes and collided into the back of the other vehicle. The accident is under investigation.

Traffic was significantly backed up on Topsail Road as emergency services worked to investigate and clear the collision.

One person was sent to hospital as a precautionary measure.
