One person sent to hospital following two-vehicle collision in Mount Pearl, late Wednesday afternoon

At least one person was taken to hospital Wednesday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision in Mount Pearl.

Emergency crews were called to a portion of Clyde Avenue near Bruse Street at around 4:20 p.m. following a two-vehicle collision involving a sedan and SUV. One vehicle sustained extensive damage while the second was moderately damaged.

At least one person was taken to hospital following the collision. A second individual was assessed at the scene but did not require transport to hospital. It was reported that no injuries were believed to be serious.

Traffic around the scene was slowed in one direction as personnel attended the scene, and while the damaged vehicles were removed
