One person sent to hospital following two-vehicle collision in Mount Pearl

Mount Pearl, NL

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Topsail Road and Commonwealth Ave roughly around 8:05 a.m. Monday morning for multiple reports of a two-vehicle collision.

Traffic was heavily affected in the area and multiple lanes were closed till the vehicles could be removed.

One person was taken by ambulance to the hospital for what is believed to he minor injuries.

Traffic will be slowed in the area for the next 30 minutes or so.
