UPDATED: Three individuals sent to hospital following two-vehicle collision in Clarenville, Wednesday afternoon

Three individuals have been transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Clarenville, Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews swiftly responded to the rear-end crash on Shoal Harbour Drive near Horwood Crescent at around 3:00 p.m. Both vehicles suffered moderate damage, and although one person was hospitalized, their injuries are not considered severe.

The area witnessed slightly heavier traffic than usual at the time of the accident. The Clarenville Fire Department, NL Health Services, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police all promptly attended to the incident.
