One person sent to hospital following rear-end collision in St John's, late Saturday evening

One person was sent to the hospital following a rear-end collision in St. John's late Saturday evening.

Emergency crews responded to the crash shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Adam's Avenue, located between Freshwater Road and Pennywell Road.

When crews arrived at the scene, they found a single sedan with moderate damage and one occupant inside. The other sedan involved was located in a nearby parking lot, also showing moderate damage.

One person was assessed by paramedics for unknown injuries and was later transported to the hospital.

Traffic was closed on Adam's Avenue from Freshwater Road to Pennywell Road, while traffic in the opposite direction was slowed.
