One person sent to hospital after colliding with a parked vehicle in Downtown St.John’s on Friday

One person was taken to hospital after reportedly colliding with a parked car on Water Street in the area of Patrick Street on Friday.

Firefighters with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department received the call just before 11:45 a.m. on Friday reporting a collision on Water Street in the area of Patrick Street in the City’s downtown.

When crews arrived a vehicle had rolled onto its side blocking both lanes of traffic. Firefighters worked quick to stabilize the vehicle preventing it to roll onto its roof.

Traffic on Water Street between Job Street and Patrick Street were detoured as police investigated the crash. One person was sent to hospital.
