One New COVID-19 Case Over The Weekend

Over the weekend Newfoundland and Labrador reported one new case of COVID-19.

On Saturday there was one new confirmed case of COVID-19. The new case was a male in the Central Health region between the age of 40 and 49. The new case is travel-related.

There was also a positive case of COVID-19 detected at the Iron Ore Company of Canada (IOC) mine in Labrador through its staff and contractor screening protocols. That test came back negative.

On Sunday there were no new cases reported.

The province has two active cases.
