One New COVID-19 Case on Friday

On Friday there was one new case of COVID-19 in the province. This time the case was in the Central Health region.

The male, between 20-39 years of age, returned to the province from Ontario.

The individual has been self-isolating since arrival.

Anyone considered a close contact has been advised to quarantine.

The province has six active cases. 289 people have recovered from the virus.

To date, 56,186 people have been tested.
