One New COVID-19 Case

The province reported a new case of COVID-19 on Thursday.

The new case is a male in the Central Health region between 20-39 years of age.

Officials say that the new case is travel-related and the man has been self-isolating since returning to the province.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province to 288. The province currently has 9 active cases of COVID-19. To date, 275 people have recovered from the virus.

So far 49,846 people have been tested.
