One New Case of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador

The Department of Health and Community Services says that there is another confirmed case of COVID-19 today.

This case is in the Eastern Health Region and is travel related.

The new case is a female between 20-39 years of age. The individual had recently returned from Southeast Asia.

Officials say the woman was symptomatic while en route to the province. The individual self-isolated upon her return to the province.

Two hundred and fifty-nine people have recovered from the virus.

So far, 23,254 people have been tested.
