One New Case of COVID-19



There was one new case of COVID-19 in the province today.


The new case is travel related. The individual, a female under the age of 19, travelled from Asia and is a resident of Newfoundland and Labrador.


It has been 17 days since the province reported a new case.


Upon the individual's return to the province, she has been self-isolating.


When she was travelling she was not exhibiting any symptoms.


The new case is in the Eastern Health Region.
