One male arrested following single vehicle crash on the Outer Ring Road late Monday night

No serious injuries following a single vehicle crash on the Outer Ring Road between Topsail Road and Thorburn Road in the Eastbound lanes late Monday morning.

Firefighters with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department received a call just before 11:45 p.m. on Monday night for a vehicle that had collided into a guardrail on the Outer Ring Road.

The occupant(s) of the vehicle appeared to not have serious injuries but was assessed by paramedics on scene it is unknown if the occupant(s) went to hospital.

The driver a 45 year old male was arrested and is charged with impaired driving.

The Eastbound and Westbound lanes were slowed for a some time as police investigated the crash.
