Oil prices have reached critically low levels. On Sunday night prices of Alberta oil actually dipped into the negatives.

On Monday afternoon the coast of a barrel of WTI oil was USD 0.11.

The market is over-supplied with oil at this point, due in part to the lack of flights and people not travelling as much during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Those falling prices could spell a financial disaster for this province, which largely depends on oil revenue.
