NORAD Intercepts Several Russian Military Aircraft Near Alaska
NORAD intercepted Russian bombers and fighter jets off the coast of Alaska on Wednesday.
U.S. Fighter jets and Tankers intercepted two Russian bombers, two Russian fighter jets and a Russian airborne early warning and control aircraft.
While the aircraft did not enter U.S. airspace, the first formation they came within 20 nautical miles of the coast of Alaska.
Then two bombers and an airborne early warning and control aircraft came within 32 nautical miles.
