No Space for Hate March in St. John's Today

Today there will be a No Space for Hate March in St. John's.

The goal of the march is to increase awareness of the hate the 2SLGBTQ+ community is facing and support the community.

Organizer of the event Sarah Marie says on an event page on Facebook, "Right wing politicians all across Canada are rolling back rights for the 2SLGBTQ+ community, if we’re going to counter their efforts we need to act now and get the public on our side."

The march will go through the Pedestrian Mall to City Hall and then back to Harbourside Park.
