No serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Mount Pearl, Tuesday night.

Emergency crews responded to the crash, shortly after 9:10 p.m. at the intersection of Old Placentia Road and Commonwealth Avenue, The two vehicles involved, both SUVs, sustained extensive damage after colliding In a near head-on collision. All opponents were assessed at the scene but it was unclear if anyone was transported to hospital.

Traffic was slowed In all directions, until a tow truck could arrive to remove the damaged

vehicles.
