No Serious Injuries Following Two Vehicle Collision in Mount Pearl on Thursday

There were no serious injuries to report following a two-vehicle collision in Mount Pearl on Thursday.

Firefighters with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department were called to the intersection of Ruth Avenue and Michener Avenue at around 6:50 p.m. today for reports of a road traffic accident.

Crews arrived to find a two-vehicle collision that resulted in one vehicle overturning on it’s roof. Two people were assessed on scene by NL Health Services paramedics.

As officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary were directing motorists at the accident, an officer observed a driver using a handheld device. The person was observed being issued a ticket on scene.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damage as a result of the accident.
