Emergency crews first responded to the scene of a single-vehicle rollover on Mount Scio Road at about 10:30 p.m. The driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, was assessed by NL Health Services (NLHS) Paramedics but did not sustain any serious injuries. Traffic was slowed in the area for a bit.

The second crash, which was a single-vehicle crash, came in just before 11:00 p.m. on Pitts Memorial Drive, in the eastbound lanes between Pearltown Road and Heavy Tree Road. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was uninjured. Firefighters from SJRFD evaluated the driver, who was cleared at the scene.

No serious injuries were reported in either of the incident.
