No Serious Injuries Following Three-vehicle Rear-end Collision Involving a Tesla in St. John’s on Monday

A three-vehicle rear-end collision involving a Tesla in St. John’s on Monday evening resulted in significant damage to two vehicles.

Emergency personnel were called to the intersection of Blackmarsh Road and Frecker Drive just after 4:50 p.m. on Monday evening for reports of a traffic accident.

Two vehicles involved in the collision sustained significant damage as a result of the crash, the other vehicle did sustained minor to moderate damage.

Blackmarsh Road between Frecker Drive and Harrington Drive was closed for approximately 30 minutes to allow emergency personnel to have a safe place to work. Police reopened one lane of traffic alternating until a tow truck could arrive to remove the damaged vehicles.

There were no serious injuries reported as a result of the collision.
