No serious injuries following collision in Mount Pearl on Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to a portion of Park Avenue between Jersey Avenue and Churchill Avenue at about 2:40 p.m. following the crash, which left one vehicle with significant damage, and up onto a embankment. The driver of the SUV was assessed by paramedics, but its unknown if they required transport to hospital. The driver of the pickup truck was unharmed in the collision.

Traffic was backed up in the area as Police had to closed a portion of the road until a tow truck could arrive.
