No serious injuries following afternoon collision in West-End St John's on Monday

No serious injuries reported following a collision in the West End of St. John's on Monday afternoon.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene just before 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Topsail Road and Holbrook Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters found that a minivan and a sedan had collided in a T-bone fashion. The driver of the minivan was reportedly unharmed. It remains unclear whether the occupants of the sedan were injured or required hospitalization.

Traffic was slowed in the eastbound lanes as police closed the right lane to facilitate the removal of the damaged vehicles by a tow truck. Both vehicles sustained significant damage.
