No serious injuries following a single vehicle crash in St. John's on Tuesday

There were no serious injuries to report following a single vehicle crash on Austin Street by Hallett Crescent on Tuesday.

Just after 11:05 a.m. on Tuesday emergency personnel were notified of a crash on Austin Street in the city of St. John's, when emergency personnel arrived on scene a single vehicle had struck a guy wire causing significant damage to the truck.

The occupant(s) appeared to not have any serious injuries, it is unknown if anyone was taken to hospital as a result of the crash.

Workers with Newfoundland Power were quick to arrive on a scene and secure the pole and fix the guy wire which is used to keep stability for the pole.
