No New COVID-19 Cases, NL On Track to Enter Alert Level Three


There are no new cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador today. This keeps the provincial total at 261.


There are two active cases.


Of these cases, 1 person is in hospital. 256 have recovered. To date, there have been three deaths. A total of 12,619 people have been tested.


We are still on track to enter ALert Level Three on Monday. Private health care can reopen this includes optometry and dentistry. Clothing retailers and hair salons can reopen. Restaurants will also reopen at a reduced level. Team field sports may start. Playground equipment is still not to be used.


Funerals and weddings may be expanded to 20 people once we enter Alert Level Three.
