No New Cases of COVID-19 Reported on Saturday

On Saturday the COVID-19 advisories returned after a break on New Year's Day.

Since December 31, Newfoundland and Labrador had no new confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Since that time there were six recoveries. Five people have recovered in the Eastern Health region and one person has recovered in the Central Health region leaving 11 active cases in the province.

One person is in the hospital due to the virus.

To date, 72,854 people have been tested.
