No injuries to report following a commercial building fire in Donovans industrial park on Monday morning

There were no injuries to report following a commercial building fire in Mount Pearls Donovans industrial park on Monday morning.

Firefighters with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department received the call just after 6:50 a.m. on Monday morning that a commercial building was on fire on Kyle Avenue.

A portion of Sagona Avenue between Kyle Avenue and Glencoe Drive was closed as thick black smoke coved a portion of Sagona Avenue traffic was detoured around the area.

The building K C Industries had significant smoke and fire damage no injuries were reported as a result of the fire. The fire is under investigation.
