Emergency crews responded to two separate collisions on late Monday afternoon, that resulted in no-one being sent to hospital.

Just after 3:45 p.m. A two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Bruce Street and Clyde Avenue in Donovan’s industrial Park, located in the City of Mount Pearl. The crash caused moderate damage to an SUV and minor damage to a pickup truck. The female driver of the pickup truck, which was the only opponent, was unharmed in the crash, however an opponent of the SUV was assessed by paramedics but did not require medical transportation.

A second collision, shortly before 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Elizabeth Avenue and New Cove Road, which involved two sedans, caused extensive damage to both vehicles, but luckily no-one was injured in the crash.

Traffic was slowed in the areas of both collisions until tow trucks could arrive to remove the damaged vehicles.
