No injuries following single vehicle collision in Witless Bay late Thursday

Just before 11:55 p.m on Thursday, Crews responded to Witless Bay Line and Route 10 for reports of a traffic accident.

When members with the Witless Bay Volunteer Fire Department arrived a single vehicle coming off Witless Bay Line to go on Route 10 failed to make it’s turn causing it to go straight over Route 10 and into a ditch.

The occupant(s) of the vehicle were not injured as a result of the collision and did not require any medical attention at the scene.

Traffic in the area was slowed as a tow truck retrieved the vehicle from the ditch.
