No injuries after fire at personal care home in Whiteway

There were no injuries after a fire at Shag Rock Manor in Whiteway early on Monday morning.

Shortly after midnight, the fire started outside the main entrance of the building. The RCMP in Whitbourne was notified about the fire at 12:40 am and attended the scene.

Firefighters from three nearby departments responded to the fire.

Residents were transported to the Whiteway Recreation Centre for lodging.

Police do not believe the fire was suspicious.
