NLTA elects new Vice-President

The Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers’ Association has elected a new Vice-President.


Sean Weir has been declared. He will serve in the role for 2025-27. He begins his two-year term of office on August 1, 2025.


Sean Weir is a current Provincial Executive member and the Vice-Principal, with teaching duties, of Bayside Academy in Port Hope Simpson.


Dale Lambe has been elected as President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers’ Association for 2025-27 after a province-wide electronic vote that took place last month. The remaining members of the 2025-27 Provincial Executive Council will be elected by the delegates to the NLTA Biennial General Meeting to be held in 2025.
