NLTA elects new president

Dale Lambe has been elected as President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers’ Association.


Lambe will serve a two year term from 2025-27 after a province-wide electronic vote. His term begins on August 1, 2025.


Currently, Lambe is the Vice-President of the NLTA and the Principal of Villanova Junior High in Conception Bay South.


The positions of NLTA President and Vice-President are elected by province-wide vote among the NLTA membership.


The vote for NLTA Vice-President will take place December 9-13, 2024.The remaining members of the 2025-27 Provincial Executive Council will be elected by the delegates to the NLTA Biennial General Meeting to be held in 2025.
