NL reports 9 new COVID-19 cases

On Monday the province reported nine new cases of COVID-19.

Of the new cases, eight were located in the Eastern Health region and one was located in the Western Health region. There was also one new presumptive positive case in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region.

There is one person in hospital because of COVID-19.

Currently, there are 40 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. So far, 282,126 tests have been administered.

Public Health is asking anyone who visited the locations listed below on the respective date and time to arrange testing.

• NLC Liquor Express at Foodland, 1588 Torbay Road, Torbay on Saturday, September 4 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• Jungle Jim’s, 286 Torbay Road, St. John’s on Wednesday, September 8 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
